The QHY247C APS-C CMOS Camera uses a SONY IMX193 APS size color CMOS sensor. Pixel size is 3.91um and it has a 14-bit A/D with a full well capacity of 36ke-. The read noise is 1e- to 2.7e-, the lowest tested noise at the lowest gain in the entire QHYCCD COLDMOS product line making it ideal for stacking many short exposures.

Very good camera I bought it a month ago in this shop.
Camera has the APS-C sensor format size which is perfect for 2″ filters and 2″ interface in the optical tube.
I had earlier the QHY168C and QHY10 cameras. QHY10 now is old camera
and comparison QHY10 and QHY247C sensors have no sense. But comparison with QHY168C and comparison other parameters with QHY10 have sense. First advantages of camera is that the equipment no need dark images
(it is only needed when you take a single photo, when you need to remove
camera noise), in the other way camera noise will be removed during image
integration (with QHY10 it is not possible). Second advantages of camera is resolution which is very big (6024*4024, 24 Mpix), for me it is big jump in comparison to QHY10 and QHY247C. Of course QHY has
better cameras such as QHY128C, QHY367C or new QHY600 but those cameras has
Full Frame sensor which need some updates for telescope if we don’t want
vignetting (from this reason I decided to buy QHY247C instead of QHY128C).
Camera is bigger than QHY10 and it is in size of QHY168C, this fact have some
advantages and disadvantages. Good thing is silent cooling system because camera is bigger and the manufacturer could put inside the bigger fan. The cooling system have possibility to cool camera quicker and make much less noise than QHY10 camera during this process. Bad thing is camera weight: QHY10 has 400g
and the QHY247C/QHY168C has 700g. One thing I don’t like in QHY168C and QHY247C, now I am using ATIK2 EFW which has T2 (M42) interface. The QHY247C as well as QHY168C has M54 interface and the manufacture do not attach the M54 to M42 converter. You have to buy it on your own The camera drivers works well both to Windows and Linux in the past the QHY have some problems
with system drivers, but now in my opinion is much better.
I took some photos with this camera and Celestron C11-A-XLT telescope:

    I sincerely recommend this camera.
