The QHY5L-II Mono Camera is a CMOS camera for auto-guiding, which can also be used for planetary and basic deep sky imaging.
Unlike older CMOS technologies the QHY5L-II has very little fixed pattern noise, and there’s no random horizontal noise.
This camera has high FPS performance: up to 200fps @ 320 x 240 and the Mono version has a quantum efficiency (QE) of 75%, making basic deep sky imaging possible.
Camera is 1.25″ EP diameter and now has a native CS mount as standard.
Choose this QHY5L II Mono Camera if you require an all in one camera with planetary, guiding & basic deep sky capabilities.
Available as a basic kit in handy storage box with USB & ST4 Cables, 1.25″ Extension (threaded for filters), 1.25″ Parfocalising Ring, Windows drivers and it’s own capture software.
Please note… The Colour of the Camera may vary from the one illustrated above.
The camera is directly supported by PHD, MetaGuide, Firecapture, SharpCap and software using theASCOM platform. UFOCapture or HandyAvi can automatically capture images of meteor trails, while you sleep!
M27 with a QHY5L-II-M and 66mm refractor, 60 x 32s exposures at 5% gain.
Capture software was AstroDMx on Linux, processed with Siril 0.9.9 & GIMP 2.10
