Description

The Revolution Imager All Sky lens allows you to image wide areas of the sky (150 degrees) using the powerful sensitivity of the Revolution Imager. Perfect for capturing images of the milky way, constellations, meteors and satellites! When combined with a USB Capture Device and powerful software like SharpCap you can easily setup a time-lapse for meteors and satellites or see the constellations move across the night sky! Software such as HandyAvi can be used for motion detection, surveillance and animation.

Specifications:

  • Focal Length: 2.1mm
  • Focal Ratio: f/1.2
  • Field-of-View (with Revolution Imager R2) =150 degrees

Field of view is less than 180 degrees with this lens, as few of us enjoy a complete view of the sky. Moreover light pollution and haze are often visible near the horizon. However if you’d like a lens that gives a full 180 degree view (in fish eye format) with the Revolution Imager R2 and other 1/3″ format cameras please choose the All Sky Lens for QHY5L-II Cameras.
