Our Low Profile M48 to T Thread Adapter connects your T thread camera or accessory to any scope, lens or accessory that has male M48 (2″ filter) threads. If threads are fully engaged, both sides and on the connecting parts, this adapter adds only about 3.5 mm to the light path.
This Low Profile M48 to T Thread Adapter is a great problem solver and can get you out of trouble if you need to reduce from M48 to T2, specifically, it reduces a M48 x 0.75 male thread to a T2 (M42 x 0.75) male thread.
What makes this adapter unique is its very low profile. The optical length (not counting male thread) is only 3.5 mm. This entails a very short M48 female thread (2.5 mm), which should be taken into consideration when planning the configuration of your imaging train.
