This arrived promptly a day after ordering. It is very solidly made and comes with two screws that will go straight into a DSLR or lens foot. As noted on the web page, the Allen key in the photo does not come with it, and this lead initially to some considerable frustration, as none of my extensive set of keys fitted! Turned out my set is metric, and the penny dropped when I realised the hole was between the 4mm and 5mm in my key set. So you need the 3/16″ Imperial Allen key. The web page should add that key fact! The next point is that the surface of the dovetail is very smooth – it would be better if it was roughened up a bit to provide some additional friction, as I had to tighten a lot to get a secure non-rotating link. I was then quickly able to attach a Nikon 200-500 lens with a Z6 and FTZ to my Celestron Evolution mount, and it was very secure. So why not 5*. Partly the smooth surface is a bad design feature, but that is fixable. What caught me out is that I cannot actually attach either my Z6 or D750 directly to the Celestron Evolution as the curved mount surround into which the dovetail attaches fouls the camera. This might be an issue more with the Evolution mount, but you need to think about the geometry a bit and might need some sort of additional bracket or spacer to get it to work directly to the DSLR. If like me your main use will be to attach the foot of a telephoto rather than the camera itself you will likely be just fine on more or less any mount. It fitted well against the foot of the 200-500, though some roughening is advised.

If your geometry works, this is a bargain compared to others I saw on sale.
