QHYCCD QHYOAG-M is a thin and solid OAG with a total thickness of 13mm including adapters. It connects directly to the QHYCCD QHYCFW3-M filter wheel and QHYCCD “A” series cameras. The QHYOAG-M has a 1.25″ micro focuser, 8x8mm prism and 50mm free aperture.
Also consider the QHYOAG-M Pro especially for guiders with larger sensors
The Celestron Off-Axis Guider uses a prism to intercept a small portion of the telescope’s focal plane (outside the field of view of the main imaging camera) to locate a guide star.
Any movement seen by the guide star will be the exact same movement seen by the imaging camera.
Guiding this way will correct for tracking errors, as well as opto-mechanical errors or flexure. The result: better astroimages with pinpoint round stars.
The Off-Axis Guider is an essential astro-imaging accessory for long focal length telescopes that require the most accurate guiding possible.
QHYOAG-S Shipped to UK
In order for a large sensor guide camera to perform to its potential in an OAG, a prism large enough to allow illumination of the larger sensor is needed to avoid severe vignetting. The new QHYOAG-M Pro uses a wider prism to better accommodate larger sensor guide cameras. The prism size of the standard QHYOAG-M series is about 8 x 8mm, while QHYOAG-M Pro is 10 x 14mm.
QHYCCD QHYOAG-L has M62/0.75 telescope interface suitable for 36 x 24mm, 37 x 37mm, and 48 x 36mm sensor sizes. Direct connection to the camera with six M3 screws (62mm diameter of screw hole positions) ensures connection accuracy and parallelism. Compatible with QHY16803, QHY09000, QHYCFW-XL Includes a precision 1.25-inch helical focuser that accepts QHY5II and QHY5III guide cameras.
