The Revolution Imager 6 – 60mm Zoom Lens is a compact f/1.6 zoom lens with 30mm aperture that can be used to view large deep-sky objects (Milky Way, Andromeda Galaxy etc) without the use of a telescope, or to provide a wide-view of the sky for capturing meteors!
Just add a photo tripod or portable tracking mount like the Mini Track LX2 and you have a compact grab-and-go, ultra-wide view telescope, perfect for viewing larger celestial objects, that can fit in your backpack or travel luggage. Suitable targets are Meteors, Satellites, Auroras, the Milky Way, Orion region, Cygnus region, Angel Nebula, Andromeda Galaxy, Hyades, California Nebula, the Double Cluster in Perseus and many many others that are listed here
The Revolution Imager 6 – 60mm Zoom Lens has 3 controllable rings for setting, zoom, focus and also includes iris control which can be used to give you a wider range of exposure options.
