The QHY174M COLDMOS camera uses a Sony Exmor IMX174 CMOS sensor with 2.35 megapixels on a 1/1.2 inch chip. It has the ability to cool 40ºC below ambient, rendering a clean background for long exposure imaging. The optical window is smart-heated to prevent condensation from forming.
