The QHY367C full frame cooled CMOS camera uses the Sony IMX094 36 megapixel, 14bit sensor. This sensor is also used in the Nikon D810A camera. Readout noise is 3.2e at lowest gain and 2.4e at unity gain. Dynamic range is > 14 Stops.
The QHY178M cooled mono camera has a 6 megapixel CMOS sensor with 8,9mm diagonal and Delta T of -40°C. Small 2.4 micron pixels make it ideal for high resolution Planetary and Lunar imaging as well as for imaging Deep Sky objects.
The QHY5-III 174 C is first in the QHY5-III series CMOS USB3.0 cameras. The camera is designed to be an excellent Planetary, Lunar and Solar and meteor capture video camera. With a 50mmF1.4 C-mount lens it can detect stars up to mag 8 or 9 at 30FPS (33ms exposure) live video. This high sensitivity with HD resolution pushes video astronomy to new heights.
The IMG2PRO is a cooled CCD camera which uses SONY’s high sensitivity Exview CCD sensor ICX285AL. This sensor is popular because it has very low dark current resulting in clean images during long exposures. The camera has a two stage TEC and set point cooling to -45C below ambient. Thermal performance is much better than similar cameras such as the Atik 314L+. The desiccant system is user rechargeable for easy maintenance.

Starlight Xpress Ultrastar Mono is an advanced version of the ‘Superstar’ guide camera and has a similar resolution of 1392 x 1040 pixels. The sensor has 70% more area and QE is greater, at around 75% peak. These characteristics give the Ultrastar excellent performance as both a guide camera and an imaging camera, it’s also well suited to ‘Live Viewing’ with a greater FOV than the Lodestar x2. This is the colour version of the Mintron 12V6HC-EX with a 1/2″ colour EXview CCD.
Colour cameras are not as sensitive as their Mono equivalents, so I recommend them for larger faster scopes and brighter deep sky objects.

The QHY IMG132E is a high performance CMOS camera for planetary imaging applications.
It uses Sony’s Exmor CMOS sensor which gives clear and noise free images.
