The ZWO ASI290MM Mini has a high sensitivity sensor, which combined with a wide field guide scope or 9 x 50 Finder (using our adapter) offers an excellent guiding solution.
The ZWO ASI178MM USB 3.0 Mono Camera features a back-illuminated Sony IMX178, 1/1.8″, 6.4Mp sensor with Sony Starvis and ExmorR Technology. Supplied with near “all sky” lens.
The QHY294C uses a 4/3-inch back-illuminated cooled color CMOS sensor, 14-bit A/D. 6,8e readout noise in lowest gain, 1.6e- read noise near unity gain and 1e- read noise at highest gain.
This camera is perfect for AstroImaging as well as AstroVideo and “Lucky Imaging”
This adapter can be used to mount the PoleMaster on any 1/4″- 20 UNC (universal) thread, handy for DIY installations
The QHY5-III 290C uses a SONY STARVIS Exmor R back illuminated CMOS sensor. The Starvis sensor means you can see very dim stars in real time video. The 2.9um pixel size is also idea for planetary imaging.
QHY miniCAM5S Mono – Cooled CMOS Camera with Guide Port.
The QHY5III485C uses Sony’s new IMX485, back illuminated, 8.4 megapixel colour CMOS sensor with an array of 3864 x 2180 pixels at 2.9um. With USB 3.0 interface, the full frame rate is 44 FPS at 8-bits or 18.5 FPS at 16-bits. Smaller regions of interest will yield even faster frame rates.
Price includes 2.5mm Fisheye lens that converts the planetary camera into a high-resolution, 8.4 Megapixel All Sky camera with 180-degree FOV
The QHY174M-GPS cooled camera is the same as the QHY174M but with the addition of a GPS based precision time and location function, useful for imaging occultations, eclipses, meteors, and other scientific imaging requiring a highly precise recording of the time and location of the observation on every frame.
The QHY5-III 178 Mono has the highest resolution in the new QHY5 III series CMOS USB3.0 cameras. Price includes shipping to the EU.
The ZWO ASI224MC comes with an exciting 1/3″ and 1.2M pixels IMX224 sensor that features SONY Exmor and NIR Technology resulting in extremely low read noise (1.5 e) and high sensitivity, especially in the near IR range. See separate listing for UK sales.
The QHY5L II Premium Package for Mono and Colour Cameras contains…
The QHY600L (Lite) Mono CMOS Cooled Camera is a new addition to the QHY600 Series. It has the following differences compared with previous models: body length is shorter (about 112mm) and the Image Buffer (onboard memory) is 1GB, which still guarantees memory requirements.
NB. We can no longer offer the QHY600L with K sensor, only the standard C grade sensor.
The QHY5-III 290 Mono uses a SONY STARVIS Exmor R back illuminated CMOS sensor. The Starvis sensor allows you to “see” very dim stars in real time video. The QHY5-III 290 can capture mag 9 stars when connected to a 50mm F1.4 C-mount lens. Compared with the IMX236 sensor it has twice the sensitivity to visible light and more than three times in the near infrared.
