Manufacturers Fitting Instructions

The MKIII Wedge has numerous tweaks based on customer feedback.

The EQ6 Pro has set the benchmark as a proven performer for Astro Imagers, for many years.

In all that time its Achilles Heel has always been the Latitude adjustment system,
with its attendant “bent bolt” syndrome.

Despite numerous after market attempts to rectify this flaw, only the EQ6 Wedge really does justice to this capable mount, to fulfil its true potential.

    I have purchased a Mark 3 EQ6Wedge.
It is so easy to assemble and makes polar alingnment so much easier
    Makes a good mount great

A fantastic product that’s very well engineered. Setup was much easier and faster than I thought it would be. Within 20 minutes I was up and running. No more sore hands when trying to polar align. Quality all round.

  3. Rated 5 out of 5

I have the MK2 version of this and its great. The machining on this product is first class and I think over engineered so it will last a lifetime.

The hardest part is stripping the old mount down. Fitting the wedge is reasonably straight forward once you have the plastic covers pried off.

Polar alignment is now a breeze especially now I have the Polemaster as well. No more wet knees!
